The memorial is located in the grounds of St Edith's Church, Grimoldby. It akes the form of a stone obelisk mounted on a stone plinth, sitting on a three stepped stopne base. The names are on the front face of the plinth.

Air Mechanic 2nd Class 45870, Royal Flying Corps. Died 8 May 1917. Aged 20. Born 29 July 1896. In the 1901 census he was aged 4, born Gimoldby, resident with his parents, Charles and Rosanna Camplew, on main road through village, Grimoldby, Louth, Lincolnshire. Admitted to Grimoldby Council School, Louth in 1909, resident Grimoldby. In the 1911 census he was aged 14, a traction engine driver, born Grimoldby, resident with his parents, Charles and Rosanna Camplew, at Grimoldby, Louth, Lincolnshire. Buried in GRIMOLDBY (ST. EDITH) CHURCHYARD, Lincolnshire.
