The
memorial can be found at the church entrance of St Marys Church, Church
Lane, Hundleby. It trakes the form of a Calvary cross under a canopy
and set on a tapering shaft. The whole is set on a square plinth and
base with inscriptions on faces 1 and 2 of the plinth, the 1939-1945
names on face 2 are on a separate tablet affixed to the lower face
of the plinth. The memorial was unveiled and dedicated 3 April 1921.
There are 5 names for World War 1 and 2 names for World War 2.

Cottingham of Spilsby, Lincs; husband of Mrs Mabel Agnes Jarvis
(formerly Cottingham, née Brash), of Camberwell London, father of
Robert Arthur Cottingham. Enlisted 1900. Commemorated on Chatham

son of Edward & Mary Ellen Davis of Gillingham, Kent. Husband of
Beatrice Mary (née Pruen) Davis (marriage 1916 Hundleby). Enlisted
York, pre-war occupation bank clerk. Buried in Grave I.D.55, Varennes

Kromminga) Hill of Hundleby. Apprentice at RAF Halton 1928. Promoted
to Flight Sergeant 1931. Commissioned as Pilot Officer 1940, Flying
Officer 1941. Awards Distinguished Flying Cross January 1941, Mentioned
in Despatches January 1943. Buried in Grave 17.A.12, Rheinberg War
