LITTLE
COATES WAR MEMORIALS
World
War 1 - Roll of Honour with detailed information
Compiled
and Copyright © John Readman and Louis Mills 2013
The
War Memorial was originally located just outside the Littlecoates school
on Harlow Street, moved 2005 to the garden at West Marsh Community Centre,
on Armstrong Street. There is a Roll of Honour within St Michael's Church,
Little Coates that lists all the men from the village who went to war
and highlights those that gave their lives. Those who are denoted as
dying have been extracted from the Roll of Honour into a separate table
which has been corrected in detail while the Roll of Honour in its entirety
is listed as well but as originally transcribed.
