At Sulva Bay 9th August 1915, aged 18 years. Private 13530. 6th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 9th August 1915, aged 18 years. Son of William and Sarah Garrill of Great Hale Fen, Lincs. Born Sleaford, enlisted Spilsby and resident Heckington, Lincs. Commemorated HELLES MEMORIAL. Panel 44 to 46.

John William

At Ypres 4th October 1917, aged 27 years. Corporal 15220. 1st Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 4th October 1917, aged 27 years. Son of Speed and Hannah Ward of Little Hale, Lincs. Born Heckington, enlisted Sleaford and resident Heckington, Lincs. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL. Panel 35 to 37 and 162 to 162A.
