Son of Francis E. and Jane Akester, of 3, North Lincoln Cottages, Frodingham, Scunthorpe, Lincs; brother of Herbert (below). In the 1901 census he was aged 5, born Frodingham, Lincolnshire, son of Francis Edward and Jane Akester, brother of Herbert Akester, resident 4, North Lincoln Row, Frodingham, Glanford Brigg, Lincolnshire.
