Lincolnshire, a Steelworker, son of Elizabeth Thomas (a widow),

He was married in Newington, St John the Baptist, Yorkshire (East Riding) on 22 February 1914 to Lilian Maud Dimberline at which time he was a Grocer's Assistant, resident Ashby.
