Extract from Lincolnshire Echo - Thursday 25 April 1918, page 3:

Lieut. George Varah. Loyal North Regiment, the only son Mr. G. H. Varah, of Endcliffe House, is reported by the War Office to have been missing since April 11 or 12. He was educated at St. Cuthbert's College, Worksop.
