The South Ferriby memorial stands in the grounds of the parish chruch and takes the form of a Celtic cross on a tapering shaft upon a plinth with a two-stepped base. There are 22 names for World War 1 and 6 names for World War 2.

BARLEY	Arthur	Private 40694. 9th Battalion, Essex Regiment (formerly 22689 Lincolnshire Regiment). Killed in action 30th April 1917. Born South Ferriby, enlisted Barton-upon-Humber and resident South Ferriby, Lincs. Commemorated ARRAS MEMORIAL. Bay 7.
BARKER	George H	Possibly Private 8220 George Henry Barker. 2nd Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment. Killed in action 4th October 1915. Son of Charles W Barker of Thornton Street, Barrow-upon-Humber, Lincs. Born Holton-le-Clay, Lincs and enlisted Hull, Yorks. Commemorated LOOS MEMORIAL. Panel 40 and 41.
BEACOCK	Frank	Private 27126. 1st battalion, Kings Own (Royal Lancaster Regiment), formerly 19359 Lincolnshire Regiment. Died of wounds 12th April 1917, aged 21 years. Son of George and Elizabeth Beacock of Cottage Lane, Wrawby, Lincs. Born South Ferriby, enlisted Brigg, Lincs. Commemorated HAUTE-AVESNES BRITISH CEMETERY. C.4.
BENSON	Frederick	Private 26128. 10th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 28th April 1917, aged 24 years. Son of Henry and Betsy Benson, husband of Emma Benson of South Ferriby Sluice, Lincs. Born South Ferriby, enlisted Scunthorpe and resident South Ferriby. Commemorated ROEUX BRITISH CEMETERY. D.36.
COUPLAND	Fred	Sergeant 240712. 5th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died of wounds 27th August 1918, aged 21 years. Son of George and Mary Ann Coupland of South Ferriby, Lincs. Born Barton-upon-Humber, enlisted Grimsby, Lincs and resident Hull, Yorks. Commemorated PERNES BRITISH CEMETERY. IV.B.25.
CROW	Ernest	Sergeant 8404. 6th Battalion, Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Killed in action 9th February 1916. Born York, enlisted York, Yorkshire. Commemorated NEW IRISH FARM CEMETERY. III.D.15.
DAWSON	Harold William	Possibly Private 36848. X Coy, 1st Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers. Killed in action 23rd September 1917, aged 31 years. Son of (the late) Mr and Mrs Thomas Dawson of Winteringham, Lincs and husband of Annie Dawson of 16 Queen Street, Barton-upon-Humber, Lincs. Born Winteringham, enlisted Scunthorpe, Lincs. HUTESON	Walter	Private 11096. 19th Coy, Labour Corps formerly 27342 of 22nd Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment according to CWGC, and East Yorkshire Regt according to SDGW. LAWSON	Allan	Gunner 290293, Royal Garrison Artillery, formerly 305 of 1st Hull Heavy Bty, Royal Garrison Artillery. Killed in action 11th September 1918. Born Paul, Yorks and enlisted Hull, Yorks. he served with the Hull Heavy Battery in German East Africa before repatriation due to illness and subsequent reposting to France & Flanders.
