The
Waltham war memorial stands beside the road on the green and is in the
form of a rounded cross with tapered shaft on a plinth, the whole stand
on a two stepped base in a paved area. The memorial was unveiled in
1920. There are 16 names for World War 1 and 8 for World War 2.
