World War 1 & 2 - Detailed Information
Compiled and Copyright © Carolynn Langley 2008
additional information Robert Walden - Flitcham web site

A memorial stands at the side of the B153 as it runs through Flitcham in front of a row of cottages. It takes the form of a stone obelisk mounted on a plinth with slate tablets affixed bearing the inscriptions. There are 24 names listed for World War 1 and 2 for World War 2. The names are listed as name then rank and then decoration although the rank and decoration information is hard to read although the names have been refreshed over the faded ones.
