WILD Ralph
Trooper 29700, 7th/12th (Norfolk Yeomanry) Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Died,age 27,on Saturday 28th April 1917. Born Lt Walsingham 13th September 1889, educated at the Grammar School Little Walsingham, enlisted on 7th April 1916. Son of Henry A & Helen M. Wild, of "Almago, Lucerne Rd Orpington, Kent. Commemorated on Arras Memorial Pas de Calais, France. Bay 3. Arras Memorial is in the Faubourg-d'Amiens Cemetery, Boulevard du General de Gaulle in the western part of the town of Arras.
WRIGHT, MM George
Private 43529, 7th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Died on Friday 28th September 1917. Age 25. Born Walsingham Mill House, Walsingham, on 25th December 1891, educated Walsingham Grammar School and the East Anglian School, Bury St. Edmunds, enlisted Cromer February 1916. Son of Herbert and Agnes Wright, of Mill House, Walsingham. Formerly 12th (Norfolk Yeomanry) Battalion, Buried in Tincourt New British Cemetery, Somme, France. Grave VI. J. 23. Tincourt is a village about 7 kilometres east of Peronne. Tincourt New British Cemetery is on the west side of the village, just off the D199.
WRIGHT Henry George
Private 12223, 7th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action on Wednesday 13th October 1915. Age 24. Born in Gt Walsingham 16th Sept 1891, educated at Little Walsingham, enlisted 24th Aug 1914. Commemorated on Loos Memorial Pas de Calais, France. Panel 30 and 31. Loos-en-Gohelle is a village about 5 kilometres north-west of Lens.
