on 1st October 1918. Aged 25. Private Hannant was born on 27th April
1893, the son of James Fredrick and Emma Hannant, of Mossymere,
Itteringham, Norwich, England. In Canada, George Hannant lived at
Claremont, Ontario, where he was a farmer. His religion was Baptist.
He joined the Canadian Army in Toronto on 5th January 1918. Buried:
Cantimpre Canadian Cemetery, Sailly, Nord, France. Ref. D. 28. |
