Morston is 2 miles from Blakeney on A149 North Norfolk Coast. There are several rolls of honour photos and individual plaques in the Church of All Saints, Morston, Norfolk. There are memorials to those who died and rolls of honour to those who served.

Private 40001, 9th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Died of wounds 12th October 1916 in France & Flanders. Age 20. Born Morston, enlisted Norwich. Son of W. J. and H. A. Balding, of Morston, Norfolk. Buried in ABBEVILLE COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Somme, France. Grave I. G. 2.

Commemorated on a marble tablet in the church:

[One memorial refers to Alec GRAY and the other Alex GREY] Leading Seaman, H.M.S. Vanguard, Royal Navy. 9th July 1914. Cannot find on CWGC but there is a Alick GRAY, Leading Seaman J/4210, H.M.S. "Vanguard", Royal Navy. Died 9th July 1917. Son of George and Agnes S. Gray, of Pot Ash Bale, Melton Constable, Norfolk. Commemorated on CHATHAM NAVAL MEMORIAL, Kent. Panel 21.

Leading Stoker (Ldg. Boatman, C.G.) 151804, H.M.S. Hogue, Royal Navy. Died 22nd September 1914. Age 41. Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Son of George and Jane Morris, of Kennington, London; husband of Eleanor Sarah Morris, of 64, Guinness Buildings, Page's Walk, Bermondsey, London. Commemorated on CHATHAM NAVAL MEMORIAL, Kent. Panel 4.

Petty Officer C/J 112875, H.M.S. Avenger, Royal Navy. Died 15th November 1943. Age 34. Son of Dennis George and Kate Docking; husband of Dora Kathleen Docking, of Sheerness, Kent. Commemorated on CHATHAM NAVAL MEMORIAL, Kent. Panel 51, Column 3.
