Son of William Beales, of Browick, Wymondham; husband of Mary Ellen Beales, of Folly Rd., Wymondham, Norfolk. Buried in AMARA WAR CEMETERY, Iraq. Grave VIII. A. 11.

ADCOCK John [James] aka Jack
Private 6146795, 1st Battalion, East Surrey Regiment. Captured in North Africa, German Prisoner of War 26 February 1943 and sadly died a few months before the end of the war 19 February 1945. Aged 29. Born Norfolk, resident London S.E. Son of Hezekiah and Sarah Adcock (nee Parnell); husband of Dilys Adcock, of Bedlinog, Glamorgan. There is also an inscription to him in the village square at Bedlinog in South Wales where his wife Dilys Adcock (nee Wiggins) was born and raised. In the 1939 Register he was born 15 October 1915, a Squash Racket Professional, married to Dilys (born 7 September 1918), resident 46 Brixton Road, Lambeth, London. Married Dilys Wiggins in the April to Jubne Quarter 1939 in Westminster Registration District, London. Buried in BERLIN 1939-1945 WAR CEMETERY, Berlin, Germany. Plot 10. Row C. Grave 2.
