Poringland is situated a few miles south east of Norwich. The World War 1 memorial is in the Church of All Saints and takes the form of a marble plaque on the left of the nave. The World War 2 Memorial is on the green next to the church.

Commemorated: Chatham Naval Memorial, Kent. Panel 68,1. HMS Harvester was torpedoed and sunk by U-432 in the North Atlantic on 11th March 1943.
