The Clopton Roll of Honour sat in the vestry and is in a distraught state. Those who died were marked with a †. There is now a newly printed and framed roll of honour just inside the main door.

†	CRONK	William Guy	[Listed as GW on Roll] 2nd Lieutenant, 3rd Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) attached King's Royal Rifle Corps. Killed in action in Flanders Monday 26th October 1914. Commemorated on YPRES (MENIN GATE) MEMORIAL, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 12 and 14

Born TRhurning, Northamptonshire, enlisted Thrapston, Northamptonshire. Son of the late Charles and Lizzie Drage, of Clapton, Thrapston, Northants.; husband of Mrs. Elsie Edwards (formerly Drage). Commemorated on LA FERTE-SOUS-JOUARRE MEMORIAL, Seine-et-Marne, France.

†	HOWE	Harry	[Listed as HOW on SDGW and CWGC] Private 13921, 1st Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Killed in action in France 13th August 1915. Age 25. Born Ramsey, Huntingdonshire, enlisted Northampton. Son of Frederick Henry and Elizabeth How, of Great Gidding, Peterborough. Buried in CAMBRIN CHURCHYARD EXTENSION, Pas de Calais, France. Grave G. 18.

	LYFORD	Chas	Royal Engineers.
	SMITH	Arthur	5th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment.
	SMITH	Percy	Sergeant Major, Royal Garrison Artillery. Wounded in Flanders August 9th 1914.
