Private 200696, 1/4th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Killed in action in Palestine 2 November 1917. Aged 20. Enlisted Wellingborough. Son of Percy and Annie Tall, of 31, Stanley Rd., Wellingborough. In the 1911 census he was aged 14, a clicker shoe, born Wellingborough, resident with his brother, William Henry Tall (see below), and his parents, Percy and Annie Tall, at 118 Mill Road, Wellingborough. Buried in GAZA WAR CEMETERY, Israel and Palestine (including Gaza). Plot XV. Row B. Grave 13.

Private 25104, 3rd Battalion, Grenadier Guards. Shot by a sniper in Passchendaele 18 September 1917. Born and enlisted Wellingborough. In the 1911 census he was aged 16, a packing case maker, born Wellingborough, resident with his brother, Dennis Percy Frederick Tall (see above), and his parents, Percy and Annie Tall, at 118 Mill Road, Wellingborough. No known grave. Commemorated on TYNE COT MEMORIAL, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 9.
