BARRICK | Norman [Alfred] | Driver,
Royal Engineers. BEF France. Lost when the SS “Lancastria”
was bombed and sunk off St. Nazaire on the 17 June 1940. Aged 21.
His body was washed ashore later and buried in the local French
Cemetery. Estimates vary between 3,300-5,000 for those lost in the
disaster. Buried in Prefailles Communal Cemetery France |
