Introduction

Colin Glendenning spent some time in Thailand in 2004 visiting various cemeteries such as Chungkai and Kanchanburi. As well as visiting these commemorative areas he spent time visiting areas of the death railway as it has become known. Here you will find photographs from that visit that will hopefully portray to those who cannot make it what it is like. We shall never know the suffering that went with these areas but we can see where it all happened.
