The memorial is located in St Chad's Parish church, Shrewsbury. The memorial takes the form of a reredos with an associated plaque and three recessed marble tablets in an elablorate albaster frame. There are 81 names listed for World War 1. The memorial was unveiled by Major General Deverell in July 1921. Details appeared in the Shrewsbury Chronicle.
