The Boxford war memorial stands outside the parish church and is in the form of a crucifix, made from Portland stone, on a stepped octagonal base. There are 38 men named for World War 1 and 7 for World War 2. The memorial was orignally unveiled by the Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich on 2nd October 1919; this was reported in the Suffolk Chronicle and Mercury 17th October 1919.
