There are two stone tablets within the parish church at Great Wratting, Suffolk. The first lists the names of those who died in World War 1, created by Messrs.; Rattle & Kett Ltd (Masons), it was dedicated by Canon J R M Vacher and unveiled 18 September 1920; it cost £26 5s. The second commemorates those who fell in World War 2 and was unveiled 17 November 1948.

1914-1919

BARRETT	Jonathan James	Pte. 39695. 2nd/5th Bn., King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Enlisted: Bawtry, Yorks. Born Great Wratting. Killed in Action 20th November 1917. Commemorated: Cambrai Memorial, Louveral, Panel 8
BOWERS	Thomas	Pte. 268138. 2nd/7th Bn., Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Enlisted: Coventry, Warwicks. Born Haverhill, Suffolk. Son of Thomas Bowers of Great Wratting. Died 18th November 1918. Age 26. Commemorated: Mont Huon Military Cemetery, Le Treport, IX. A. 10B
BRADFORD	William Elijah	Pte. 48170. 8th Bn. Royal Fusiliers . Enlisted: Sudbury. Born Great Wratting, Son of Arthur and Ellen Bradford, husband of Ethel Bradford. Died of Wounds 2nd July 1917. Age 26. Commemorated: Arras Memorial, Bay 3
FARRANT	Charles	Pte. PO/8883. Royal Marine Light Infantry. Son of Walter and Meanna Lois Farrant of Great Wratting. Died 5th May 1915. Age 35. Commemorated: Alexandria (Chatby) Military and War Memorial Cemetery, A. 18
LING	Jacob	Pte. 5254. 9th Bn. East Surrey Regiment. Enlisted: Haverhill, Suffolk. Born Great Wratting, son of Edward and Sarah Ling. Killed in Action 17th June 1916. Age 32. Commemorated: Dranoutre Military Cemetery, II. E. 12
ROWLINGSON	George	Sgt. 12750. 2nd Bn., Essex Regiment. Enlisted: Chelmsford, Essex. Born Great Wratting, son of William and Ellen Rowlingson; husband of Lizzie Rowlingson of Haverhill, Suffolk. Killed in Action 12th May 1917. Age 25. Commemorated: Arras Memorial, Bay 7
ROWLINGSON	William Frank	AB. J/34073. HMS Calliope, Royal Navy. Born Great Wratting, son of William and Ellen Rowlingson, brother of George. Killed in Action 31st May 1916. Commemorated: Chatham Naval Memorial. 16
