Son of Mrs. A. Quantrill, of 17, Water Lane Lowestoft. Formerly 1444, Suffolk Cyclist Battalion. Buried in DUISANS BRITISH CEMETERY, ETRUN, Pas de Calais, France. Plot III. Row L. Grave 18. QUANTRILL James William
Deckhand 19075DA, H.M. Drifter "Ocean Fisher", Royal Naval Reserve. Killed when H.M. Drifter "Ocean Fisher" was mined 16 June 1918. Aged 18. Born 27 November 1899 in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. Son of Mr. G. E. and Mrs. Rebecca M. Quantrill, of 17, High St., Lowestoft. The 1911 census lists him as aged 11, at school, born Poplar, London, son of George Edward and Rebecca Martha Quantrill, resident 17 High Street, Lowestoft, Suffolk. No known grave. QUINTON Claude Noel
Private 22506, 7th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 3 July 1916 in France & Flanders. Born Lowestoft, enlisted Lowestoft. In the 1911 census he was aged 14, born Lowestoft, at school, son of Jabez and Eliza Quinton, resident 11 Summer Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk. Buried in OVILLERS MILITARY CEMETERY, Somme, France.
