The War Memorial is situated in the Town Hall, Market Lane, Malmesbury, North Wiltshire previously mounted on the wall inside the Tourist Information Office, Market Lane, Malmesbury. It takes the form of a triptych with triangular pediment, a pedestal and hinged doors with the names listed on the central panel and the inside of doors; a plain brass cross is in the centre. The memorial was manufactured by Messrs. Hughes and Bolckow Lrd. There are 66 names listed for World War 1 only most are also on the Malmesbury Abbey memorial.
