The
Hanley Castle war memoriasl stands in the grounds of the St Mary's church
and takes the form of an ornately designed topping on a single shaft
which stands on a plinth with a two step based. There are 34 names listed
for Worled War 1 and 10 for World War 2. The inscriptions are on the
plinth and the top step.
