The
memorial is outside the Cathedral on the north eastern side facing the
High Street. Seven octagonal tiered steps supporting an octagonal ‘turret’.
There are 8 badges, one on each panel of the turret – RAF, Queens
Own Worcestershire Hussars, Royal Army Service Corps, Royal Engineers,
one inscribed Ubique Quo Fas Et Gloria Du Gun and 3 with no wording.
The turret supports a large stone cross. The inscription reads down
each step on the front facing steps:
