Son of William and Grace May (nee Gosling) Daines, of 8, Landermere, Thorpe-le-Soken, Clacton-on-Sea. Buried in MONCHY BRITISH CEMETERY, MONCHY-LE-PREUX, Pas de Calais France. Plot II. Row D. Grave 1 (Special Memorial).

Note: 58 of the burials are unidentified but there are special memorials to a number of casualties known to be buried among them.
