The memorial is to be found on a low wall in garden in front of Greater Manchester Fire Service Divisional Headquarters building, in Thompson Street, Manchester. It takes the form of a tablet with rounded head and black lettering with laurel leaves on either side. There are twenty seven names listed for World War 1 only.
